Feeling little bit inspired last weekend and did a set of nails based on this super gorgeous ZALIA Contrast Lace Fit & Flare Maxi Dress from Zalora.
This dress is made of so much detail, look at that lace! I love flattering the dress goes on the model, it really defines her body shape very well. What drew me to this particular dress is the fabric colour underneath, something between a sea green and emerald. Makes me think of mermaids!! Not to mention the model is super pretty too!
So… I did something simple based on the dress! Here we go – Hari Raya Nail Art.
I did two nails with black polish (Unstricted Glam, Ciate) as the black represents bulk of the dress. On my middle finger, I used a shimmery, metallic glitter (Catch Me in Your Net, OPI) which I purchased off Carousell at a steal a year or more ago. Super gorgeous colour, as you can see how sick the colour shift is in the bottle! Most of the time it looks like a deep emerald, at certain angles it turns to a steel blue. When you look at the bottle, there are even yellow / bronze flakies of sorts, giving the mermaid-ish look!
On my ring finger, I finished off with a transfer stamping decal I made. I stamped the design (Kaleidoscope 10, MoYou London) onto my stamper, filled in CMIYN by OPI into some triangles and waited 5 minutes. I covered the design with OPI Rapid Dry wishing it will not smudge and boy, I was wrong! It smudged my triangles pretty badly I had to be super careful to finish covering the whole stamp design with the top coat. #badchoice
Thankfully, the smudge is not *too* obvious and I managed to get away with it!
Zalora is having an amazing sale on Hari Raya clothings on their Hari Raya sale site, so be sure to check it out! I was scrolling through all the dresses and went OH MY GOD SO PRETTY!
I swear those dresses are the prettiest thing ever! Hope you guys enjoyed reading about the Hari Raya Nail Art.
Alright it’s time to go, bye!
